Alma Sondag

MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Vincent (Alma) Sondag, 78, of Pleasant Manor Care Center, Mt. Pleasant, a former Salem resident, died late Monday, Dec. 24 at Pleasant Manor.

She was born Feb. 19, 1906 to Charles and Jennie Davis Keck, Croton. Seh married Vincent Sontag(sp) Jan. 23, 1933, at Kahoka, Mo. He died April 24, 1966.

Mrs. Sondag worked at the Baxter Hotel, Burlington. She was a member of St. John Church, Houghton, and of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving: Her brother, LLoyd Keck, Stockport; sister Flossie Sprouse, Salem.

Prayer service: 7 p.m. Thursday, Weir Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant; graveside services 11 a.m. Friday. Friday at the St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Harper, Fr. Robert Streigel officiating.
