CARRIE E. BOYER

A funeral for former Farmington resident Carrie E. Boyer, 90, of Rock Island, Illinois, who died Friday, June 22, 1984 in the Rock Island Convalescent Center, was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Farmington Baptist Church. Pastor Ron Haas officiated. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

Hodgson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born August 30, 1893 at Clarion, the daughter of Lyman and Eliza Tutt. She married Clyde Boyer, July 12, 1921 at Farmington. She had been a school teacher and was a pianist and organist at the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Trent of Rock Island, her brother Eldin of Gary, Texas, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977.
