MRS. VERLA HIGH

Mrs. Verla High died at her home in Silver Springs, Maryland, June 12, 1984 at age 68.

She was born February 8, 1916 at Hillsboro, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude Thornton.

She married Alsey High of Silver Springs, Maryland, March 16, 1944. He preceded her in death, July 26, 1980.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Keck, Bonaparte and Mrs. Cassie Leager, Twin Falls, Idaho; one step-son, William High of Annapolis, Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

Burial and graveside services were held in Wilson, North Carolina.
