MRS. VADA BELLE ROSE

Mrs. Vada Belle Rose of rural Farmington died at the home of her daughter at 8:30 a.m. March 16, 1984 in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas.

Mrs. Vada Parks Rose was born February 1, 1903. She married Frailey B. Rose, January 12, 1923. He preceded her in death, April 13, 1968. She lived in New London until 1950 when she moved to her present home at rural Farmington.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wendell (Elaine) Hughes of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, a son, Jack Rose of Eagle Pass, Texas, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body will be cremated. Graveside services will be held at the Burge Cemetery, New London, Saturday, March 24, 1984 at 1 p.m. Rev. James Rozendaal of the United Methodist Church of Big Mound, of which she was a member, will officiate. The Elliott Funeral Home, New London, is in charge of arrangements. A memorial for the Shrine Club for Crippled Children in Fairfield Bay is being established.
