JOE FRANK TROUTMAN

Joe Frank Troutman, 68, Wever, died at 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 1984. He had been stricken at home and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

Mr. Troutman was born November 8, 1915 at Mt. Sterling, Iowa and had lived in the Wever area since 1950. He was a livestock dealer. He served with the Navy during World War II and received the Purple Heart.

On June 21, 1933, at Keokuk, he married Nina J. Bradford.

Also surviving are five sons, James of Wever, Donald of Memphis, Missouri, Richard of Burlington, Jerry of Hamilton and Ronald of Escondido, California; seven daughters, Mrs. Dean (Juanita) Huff, Macomb, Illinois, Mrs. James (Patricia) Richers and Mrs. Lee (Brenda) Johnson, both of Wever, Mrs. Joe (Peggy) Villinger, Cynthia Troutman and Janis Bryant, all of West Point, and Mrs. Joe (Teresa) Hawk, Dayton, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Steeples, Bonaparte, Mrs. Sam (Esther) Lamborn, Farmington, Mrs. Norm (Wanda) Adams, Oquawaka, Illinois, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Davis, who lives in Minnesota; and 34 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild. His parents were James E. and Mary L. Totten Troutman.

The body is at the King-Lynk Funeral Home where final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 10, 1984. The Rev. Ian Armstrong will officiate. Burial will be in Soldiers' Circle of Oakland Cemetery.
