Sheryl Cochran

Sheryl Ruth Cochran, daughter of Arlen and Norma Scotten Ward, was born April 19, 1945 in Keosauqua and departed this life at her home in Keosauqua the morning of Monday, July 5, 1982 at the age of 37.

She attended school in Keosauqua and married David Cochran. He remains to cherish her memory with their three daughters, Cynthia, Melissa, and Amand and their son, Colt John, all at home. Also surviving are her parents, Norma Ward of Farmington and Arlen Ward in Arizona, three sisters, Peggy Fernetti, Albia; Fran Scholl, Pittsburg, Kansas; and Mary Ward, Farmington; three brothers, Rod Ward, Farmington; Otto Ward, Arbela, Mo.; and D.J. Ward, Mt. Sterling, other relatives and friends.

Sheryl will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, good neighbor and friend, whose influence will live on in the lives of her family.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, 1982 at 1:30 P.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery.
