SUE HESLER

Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Hesler, 40, of Danville, were held at the Danville United Methodist Church January 12, with the Rev. Gordon McMillan officiating. Burial was in Jaggar Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the Elliott Chapel in New London.

Mrs. Hesler died of a rare blood disease January 9 at University Hospital, Iowa City.

She was born December 27, 1941 to John and Opal Wood Carter. She married Robert F. Hesler, former Milton resident, December 29, 1968. She was active in church, civic and school affairs in Danville where she was secretary of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Sean and Chris both at home; her mother, Opal Carter of Fremont; two brothers, Bob L. Carter of Cedar and John E. Carter of Fremont.
