ETTA HARNAGEL

Etta Harnagel, 87, of Donnellson, died Saturday, November 28, 1981, at 5:45 p.m. at the Donnellson Manor Care Centr.

Born September 29, 1894 in Lee County Iowa, she was the daughter of John and Carried Brownfield Fett.

She married Herbert F. Harnagel on September 15, 1915 at West Point.

She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Franklin.

Surviving are two daughters, Eileen Hedrich of Donnellson and Mrs. Claude (Norma) Phelps of Gillette, Wyoming; one sister, Mrs. Oliver (Mabel) Hooper of San Diego, California; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The funeral was held in the Franklin United Church of Christ on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Donald Stoll officiated. Burial was in the Franklin Evangelical cemetery. Hofbauer Funeral Home at Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
