LAURA M. SHRIVER

Laura M. Shriver, 56, of Gassville, Ark. died of a heart ailment on Thursday, Sept. 10 at a Mountain Home, Ark. hospital.

Services were Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Kirby-Blevino-Lafevers Chapel in Mountain Home. Graveside services were held Monday, Sept. 14 at Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Iowa.

Born in Logan, Ia. on June 6, 1925, she lived in Des Moines for about seven years, moving to Gassville in 1979. She was a diet clerk at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.

She was united in marriage to Russell c. Shriver on August 3, 1946 at Williamsburg, Virginia.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Russell Jr. of Carlisle; four daughters, Phyllis Brown, Des Moines, Leah Chambers, Gassville, Cathy Bauer, Clear Lake, Ia., and Rebecca Chandler, Laurel, Del.; nine grandchildren; one brother, George Musselman of Des Moines; one sister, Ealenanora Stanley of Mountain Home Ark.
