JESSE L. WINN

Jesse L. Winn, 97, of Staring Road, died Sunday, January 11, 1981 in Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lebanon, Iowa on July 10, 1883. He married Huldah Huskenson there on Jan. 11, 1911. She died Aug. 26, 1971. They spent their lives farming in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin until he retired at age 72. He the became a cobbler. Winn was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Doctor Leonard of Whitewater, La Vern of Hampton, Va. and Norris of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Baker of Geneo, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Winn, 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, one son, Jay preceded him in death.

Services were held on January 12, 1981 in the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Dale Christopher officiating. Burial was held for January 13, 1981 at Lebanon Cemetery.
