JAMES B. KENNEDY

James B. Kennedy, 91, Donnellson, died Sunday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Donnellson Manor.

He was born September 21, 1889 at Altoona, Iowa, to Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Jane Hazen Kennedy. They both preceded him in death.

On March 28, 1916, he was married to Blosom Geither at Galesburg, Ill., who survives. He was a retired farmer and lived at Primrose most of his adult life. He was a member of the Sharon United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Gerald J. Kennedy, Donnellson; three daughters, Mrs. Arlo (Maxine) Roth, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Donald (Lois) Kelly Farmington, and Mrs. Carl (Norma) Zurborg, Davenport; and several grandchildren.

Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services were Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Sharon United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Donald Stoll officiating. Burial was at the Sharon Cemetery.

A memorial is being established for the Sharon United Presbyterian Church. They may be left at Hofbauer's.
