William Watts

Former Milton resident William C. Watts, 64, of 3800 Pughsville Road in Suffolk, Va., died July 3, 1992, at Sentara Bayside Hospital in Virginia Beach, Va.

He was born June 3, 1928, in Keosauqua to John R. and Edith McCollum Watts.

He married Ellen Nuzzo.

He was a veteran serving in the Navy for 23 years. He worked as safety inspector with Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Norfolk, Va.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, William of Chesapeake, Va., and Robert of Norfolk; two grandchildren; his mother of Bloomfield; and a sister, Dorothy Hagler of Milton.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Franis.

Graveside were held Tuesday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton, the Rev. Kim Eanes officiating.

The Priester Funeral Chapel in Milton was in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Avenue of Flags Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
