Trilla Cass, 96, Route 2, Bonaparte, died at 4 p.m. Friday, August 11, 1989 at her home.

She was born August 27, 1892 in rural Bonaparte. She taught in rural schools for a number of years and was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Bonaparte. In March 1924, at Bonaparte, she was married to Duane Cass, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, John and Alva, both of Route 2, Bonaparte; and a niece, Josephine Lunsford.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister. Her parents were Alva and Ada White Myers and sister Willa Myers Moore Martin.

Services for Mrs. Cass were held Monday, August 14, 1989 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
