Funeral held for Snodgrass

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Milton United Methodist Church for Dale Snodgrass, who died Thursday at the Davis County Hospital. The Rev. Herbert Phillips conducted the services with burial in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton. The Wagler Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

The son of William J. and Amanda Miller Snodgrass, he was born in Davis County Sept. 24, 1897. He was a resident of rural Cantril for 32 years and was a farmer. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Milton.

His marriage to Velma Ensminger took place Sept. 30, 1930 at Fairfield.

She survives as does one daughter, Helen Louise Peterson of Chicago and one granddaughter.

One brother preceded him in death.
