Mrs. Sparrow's funeral is set

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday for Lula Minnie Baxter Sparrow, 79, who died at noon Monday at her home in Bloomfield.

The funeral will be conducted at the Wagler Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold Baker. Burial will be in the Pualski Cemetery.

A housewife, she was born October 3, 1894 in Kansas to George and Mary Alice Headley. She had been a resident of Davis County for 15 years and was associated with the Bloomfield Church of the Nazarene.

She married Clarin Sparrow on March 14, 1970.

Survivors include her widower; two daughters, Ruby Lathrom of Cabool, Mo., and Elaine Ussery of Mountain Grove, Mo.; one son, Harold Baxter of Milton; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and one brothers.
