Pearl Miller
Pearl Miller, 90, Rt. 2, Morning Sun, Iowa, died Saturday night, January 5, at Wapello Nursing Home, where she had resided for about five years.

Born May 15, 1889, at Ainsworth, Iowa, she was the daughter of David and Arilla Edmondson, of Arbella, Missouri. She married W. Palmer Miller on December 24, 1908, at Arbela, Missouri. He died in 1961.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wapello.

Survivors include five grandchildren, children of her deceased son, Clarence, who died in 1975. They are: Robert Miller of Arkansas City, Kansas, Richard of Denver, Colorado, Nicki Jo of Columbia, Missouri, Mrs. Warren (Judith Ann) Cowles of Northbrook, Illinois, and Mrs. Ivan (Clarine) Rush of Memphis, Mo.

Other survivors include 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pearl Miller was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence and a sister, Ollie. A sister-in-law, Beulah Miller of Arbela, Missouri, also survives.

She lived west of Granger for many years.

Services were held Tuesday, January 8, 1980, at 1:30 p.m. at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Burial was at Cairo Cemetery of rural Louisa County, Iowa.
