Franklin Miller
MILTON - Franklin P. Miller, 66, of rural Milton died on May 13, 1984, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1917, in Bagley to Patton and Emily Cudworth Miller. He lived most of his life in the Milton area, where he had farmed and ran an electrical shop. He was a member of the Milton Methodist Church and Lions Club and was treasurer of the Milton Community Fire Association. He married Fern Acton on Jan. 15, 1942, at Memphis, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; his mother Emily Spilman of Cantril; a brother, Walter R. Miller of Milton; and a stepbrother, Robert Spilman of Hedrick. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Ann and by his father.
The service was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 1984 at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, the Rev. Harold Harryman officiated. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.
