NELLIE GRONE

Nellie Alice Grone, 75, of 123 Lincoln, died Sunday at 5 a.m. at the New Sharon Care Center.

Born March 10, 1899, in Mercer, Mo., to George and Alice Elsey Weiser, she had been an Ottumwa resident most of her life. She married Harry C. Grone in 1947 at Galesburg, Ill. He died in 1952.

Surviving are two sons, Leo Trial of Buena Park, Calif. and Harold Trail of Merce, Mo.; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bert Mitchell of Ottumwa.

Services will be wtuesday(err) at 1 p.m. at the Jay Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Gilleney of the Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Chariton Cemetery in Chariton.
