Bernice Alvira Grim
Bernice Alvira Grim was born in Davis County, Iowa on January 7, 1900, the daughter of William and Blanche Ware Beggs. She passed away on August 31, 1979 in Bloomfield.
On December 25, 1919 she was united in marriage to Dewey Grim. To this marriage five children were born: William Grim, Bloomfield; Mrs. Edward (Mary) Haworth of Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Bill (Christine) Clark of West Des Moines; Mrs. Burr (Kathleen) Brown of Ottumwa; and Elizabeth Rose who died in infancy..
Following the death of her husband, December 23, 1971, she moved from the farm to a home in Bloomfield.
She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, of the United Methodist Women and the Civic League.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, her husband, infant daughter and brothers, Ralph Beggs and Russell Fiedler.Survivors are her children; a daughter-in-law; three sons-in-law; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Aeschliman of Cherokee Village, Ark., and Martha Blair of Cantril, Iowa; and other relatives and friends.
