Henry C. Ensminger

Henry C. Ensminger, 89, 407 E. Jefferson, Bloomfield, died Monday, March 16, 1987, at the Bloomfield Care Center.

He was born March 5, 1898 in Henry County to Chris and Martha Scarff Ensminger. A retired teacher and school superintendent in Salem and Hillsboro areas, he married June Hall in May of 1925 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale at Nashua. She died April 7, 1986.

Survivors include a son, Harold E. Ensminger of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Edward Ensminger of Bloomfield; and two sisters, Mabel Vanderlinden of Williamsburg and Susie Whirrett of Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Priester Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Don Macy. Burial will be in the Troy Cemetery. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.
