James A. Drake

James A. Drake, 78, passed away on June 20, 1984, at Santa Ana, California, after a lengthy illness.

He was the youngest son of Alfred and Ella Drake and was born in Scotland County, Missouri.

He was graduated from the Memphis High School in 1925. He was married to Hazel Green in December of 1925 and moved to the eastern states, later moving to California, where he worked for General Motors for 15 years. He then went into business for himself as a real estate broker.

He was a member of the Masonic Order, Scottish Rite and Shrine.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; a daughter, Marcella Foley of Mesa, Arizona; a grandson, James Duffy of Corona, California and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Neil W. Drake, Cliff L. Drake, Leo K. Drake and three sisters, Eula Drake, Lera Boyer and Oma Porter.
