LEE CONE DIES AT MEMPHIS AFTER LENGTHY ILLNESS

Lee Cone, 72, former Milton resident, died Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Community Nursing Home in Memphis, Mo. after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one daughter, Mary Martin of Eldon, Mo. and one son, Eugene Cone of Milton.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Gerth and Baskett in Memphis, with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Attending the service from away were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Whitmore of East Troy, Wisc., Bob Cone of Davenport, Wesley Cone of Iowa City, Stella Sutter of Wyaconda and Mary Minheart of Kahoka, Mrs. Whitmore will be remembered as Miss Fern Barton, former Milton resident.
