G. Warner Rites Set

STOCKPORT - Funeral services for C.A. (Gus) Warner, 88, will be Friday at 2 p.m., at Stockport United Methodist Church with the Rev. David R. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery northeast of Stockport.

Warner died Wednesday, at Jefferson County Hospital.

He was born March 10, 1889 near Cantril, the son of Charles W. and Kitty Guy Warner. He married Ethel A. Hawbaker May 29, 1910 at Keosauqua. A reitred farmer, he spent most of his life in the Stockport community.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Thomas and Jim, both of Stockport; three daughters, Frances D. Brady and Kitty Schliffke, both of Omaha, Neb., and Ardith B. Derry of Eugene, Ore.; seven grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Moore of West Point and two brothers, I.C. Warner of Des Moines and Bruce of Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and one sister.

Weston Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
