HELEN BIRCHMIER

Helen R. Birchmier, 64, of Cantril died June 21, 1990, at Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born January 23, 1926, in Cantril to Walter and Suzanne Pierre Birchmier.

She graduated from Milton High School in 1946 and was employed by Sheaffer Pen Company in Ft. Madison. She was a member of the St. Mary Magdalene Church of Bloomfield.

She is survived by her mother; three brothers, Richard of Centerville, Ernest of Cantril and Dennis of Bloomfield; and two sisters, Jeanette Jones of Memphis, Mo., and Marjorie Koellner of Milton.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June we, 1990 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Bloomfield, the Revs. Leonard Goetamuller and Phillip Moriarity officiating. Burial was in Troy Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Bloomfield Care Center activities fund.

Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
