Mamie O'Bleness

KAHOKA, Mo. - Mrs. Mamie O'Bleness, 78, Rural Kahoka, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, at her home.

The daughter of William and Henrietta Zinnert Kiger, she was born in Kahoka, January 10, 1896. She was married to Murray O'Bleness, March 30, 1921, in Kahoka. He survives.

Mrs. O'Bleness attended Gem City Business college, Quincy. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Kahoka Chapter No. 40, OES.

Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the Wilson Funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Laufer officiated. Interment was in the Kahoka cemetery.
