Daisy Pearl Storm

Daisy Pearl Storm, daughter of I.W. and Julia Wolf Jackson, was born February 2, 1879 at Fremont, Iowa and passed away at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital the morning of June 26, 1971 after a lingering illness.

She was united in marriage to Frank Storm of Fremont on February 8, 1903 and to this union was born two children, Lowell and Zenetta.

In 1918 the moved to Van Buren county where her husband passed away in 1927 at Birmingham.

Mrs. Storm was affiliated with the Methodist Church at an early age and was very active in the affairs of the church, teaching Sunday School and taking part in the work of the Ladies Aid until she was 89 years of age. She was a member of the Keosauqua Book Club.

Since 1927 she has made her home with her daughter and did practical nursing until her retirement at 75 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Surviving are her son Lowell of Chugwater, Wyoming, her daughter Zenetta of rural Keosauqua, 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Two half-brothers and one half-sister also survive.

Funeral services with Rev. James Ford officiating were held at the Catcott Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 1971 at 2:30 P.M. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa.
