Augusts C. REHKOP [elsewhere listed as Augustus C. REHKOPF] born 7/17/1837 in Edesheim, Kingdom of Hanover, Germany died Pierceville, Iowa Jan 20, 1905 age 67 years 6 months 3 days. At 17 years came with parents to America. Stopping at Memphis, Tenn, July 4, 1854 thence to Bentonsport, Iowa 9/1857 where he work cabinet trade for 17 years thence to farm. Married Miss Louisa SIEMORE 10/11/1860 at Keosauqua, Iowa, eleven children, two daughters preceding him in death. Leaves wife, 5 sons and 4 daughts [sic]: Anna H. MERIDETH of Bona [sic]; Gus and Fred of Imperial, CA; Caroline E. TRUMBO of Utica, IA; Wm. G. G. and Louisa of Des Moines; Albert L.; Charles E. and Elsie E. are yet at home. Also 12 grandchildren.
