Mrs. Paul Fotsch

Mrs. Agnes Fotsch, 75, of Farmington, died Monday, June 14, at 6:30 a.m. in Van Buren County Memorial hospital, Keosauqua. She had been ill three months.

She was born Dec. 14, 1895, at Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Oscar and Revida Juhlin Anderson. She spent her childhood at Davenport. She has been a resident of Farmington since 1925.

Her marriage to Paul Fotsch, a resident of Ames, took place on June 16, 1921 at Davenport. He survives.

Mrs. Fotsch was a member of the United Methodist church, Farmington; the W.S.C.S.; was a 25 year member of Chapter O P.E.O.; the American Legion auxiliary; the John Ruskin Study club; and the Cemetery Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons - LaVerne Paul of Barneveld, Wis., Robert of Wauconda, Ill., Wesley of Coralville, and Harold of St. Paul, Minn.; three daughters Mrs. Robert (Charlene) Hood of Bonaparte, Mrs. Verle (Jane) DeRosear of Farmington, and Mrs. George (Dorothy) Klinkhammer of Cedar Rapids; 28 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one great-grandson, two sisters, and one brother.

The funeral service was Wednesday, June 16, at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist church, Farmington. The Rev. Edward Maus officiated. Burial was in the Farmington cemetery.
