Mrs. Vera A. Shriver

Mrs. Vera A. Shriver, 63, died in her sleep at her home at 4215 Avenue L, Ft. Madison, Wednesday, June 2.

Mrs. Shriver was the daughter of Ernest and Millie Canning Munford, and was born Jan. 28, 1908, in western Oklahoma.

She was married to Otis Shriver at Keokuk on May 14, 1927. Most of her life was spent in Ft. Madison.

Surviving: The husband; three sons and a daughter: Richard and Jerry Shriver, both of Ft. Madison; Donald Shriver of Olathe, Kan., and Mrs. Bonnie Stewart of Bloomfield; two brothers and three sisters: Victor and James Edward Munford and Mrs. Rita Riddle, all of Farmington, and Mrs. Ruth Jannings of Keokuk, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at 3 p.m. at Brant-Clements Chapel. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
