Irvin Scott

Irvin Scott, 78, Cantril, died Friday, June 11, at 3:10 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital.

Born August 16, 1892, at Ash Grove, he was the son of John and Mary Ellen Houk Scott. On May 25, 1914, he married Vina Mae Albright, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Lowell of Cantril, and Donald of Ottumwa; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Engle; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles of Ottumwa and a sister, Miss Sylvia Scott of Bloomfield.

The funeral service was held Monday, June 14 at 2 p.m. at the Cantril Christian Church conducted by the Rev. James McKean. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.
