Otto Esmeier

The funeral service for Otto Esmeier, 80, of St. Paul, was held Wednesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic church, St. Paul. The Rev. Omar Kiefer officiated. Burial was in St. James cemetery. Arrangements were by the Link Funeral Home at West Point where the recitation of the Rosary was held Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Mr. Esmeier, a lifelong resident of Lee county, died Monday, May 3, at 4:10 p.m. in St. Joseph hospital, Keokuk.

He was a bachelor. He was a member of St. James church.

Mr. Esmeier was born Feb. 12, 1881 at St. Paul.

His only survivors are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
