Stanley Brewington

Stanley R. Brewington, 86, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, May 2 at his home in Fairfield. He had been in failing health.

Born Aug. 5, 1884, in Keosauqua, he was the son of Charles and Nancy Perry Brewington. He moved to Fairfield in 1904. He married (????) Fligg Basham April 24, 1929, in Fairfield. He retired in 1958 from Pierson and Pierson Plumbing & Heating after more than 35 years.

Three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

Surviving are his widow and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Goff of Napa, California.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, May 3 at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home conducted by M.K. Long. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
