Charles Schlicher

Charles Henry Schlicher, 59, of Hammond, La., formerly of Donnellson, died Friday, Jan. 1, at Hammond.

Mr. Schlicher was a former Donnellson town marshal and a former heavy equipment operator for Cameren Joyce & Co., Keokuk.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, Charles Earl Schlicher of Hammond; a daughter, Genevieve Schlicher, also of Hammond; five brothers, Earl and Louis, both of Donnellson, Frank of Fairfield, and James and Albert, both of Fort Madison; and four sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Fraise of Donnellson, Mrs. Magdalene Proenneke of Stockport, Mrs. Josephine Wilson of Brownwood, Texas and Mrs. Elizabeth Harrelson of Moline, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wallace.

Funeral service and burial were in Crowley, La., Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schlicher, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fraise of Donnellson, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schlicher of Fairfield attended the services.
