Miss Mary Krehbiel

Miss Mary Krehbiel, 73, a lifelong resident of the Donnellson area, in Sacred Heart hospital, Ft. Madison. She had been in failing health for two years.

She was born Sept. 17, 1897 near Donnellson and was a member of the church choir and a former Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Women's Mission Society of the church and a member of the Zion Women's Quartet.

Surviving are four brothers, Edgar, Rudolph, Curt, all of Donnellson and Wesley of Fort Madison; two sisters, Hilda and Lillian, both of Donnellson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert, and and a brother and sister in infancy.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson. The Rev. Alvin Kleinsasser officiated. Burial was in the Mennonite cemetery.
