Funeral services for John Clifford Wollam, 88, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 in the Kahoka, Mo. Christian Church, with the Rev. Howard McPeak of the Keosauqua Christian Church in charge. Burial was in the Blackledge Cemetery near Mt. Sterling. He farmed most of his life in the Mt. Sterling area.

The son of Josiah and Maria Clifford Wollam, he was born Dec. 26, 1882 at Cantril and died at 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12 in Park Manor Nursing Home in Burlington. The body was taken to Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua and removed Saturday to the Wilson-Gutting Funeral Home in Kahoka. In 1913 he married Ava Parish, who is a resident of the Park Manor Nursing Home in Burlington.

Survivors are his widow; two sons, John Wollam of Simi, Calif. and Eugene Wollam of Kahoka; two daughters, Mrs. Paulin Losey of Keosauqua and Mrs. Geraldine Koeber of Ft. Madison; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
