Floyd Smith

Floyd Smith, 74, Cantril, died at his home Sunday.

Born Oct. 12, 1894, near Cantril, he was the son of John and Amanda Rhine Smith. He married Ethel Rech on Oct. 24, 1931. She died Dec. 26, 1957.

Smith had been a mechanic several years. He had worked at repairing years. He had worked at repairing small electric appliances since becoming ill several years.

Surviving are one brother, Stanley of Keosauqua; five nieces and five nephews.

The funeral was Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Cantril Methodist Church with the Rev. Herbert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
