Ted M. Stewart

Ted M. Stewart, 65, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at his farm home near Lebanon. He had been in failing health, but death was unexpected.

The son of Andrew J. and Annie Miller Stewart, he was born Aug. 3, 1903, near Cantril. On Sept. 3, 1933, he was married to Rena Arnett, at her home in Milton. Their entire married life was spent on the present farm.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Wayne of Eldon and Raymond of Des Moines; one brother, John of Douds; and two sisters, Ethelyn McCord of Douds and Violet Armstrong of Ottumwa.

He was a member of Lebanon Methodist Church, where the funeral was held Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ellis Andrews of Danville and the Rev. Dennis Nicholson, pastor, officiating. Burial in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home at Douds.
