Mrs. Isabel J. Jannings

Funeral services for Mrs. Rex (Isabel J.) Jannings, 60, R.R. Hillsboro, were held Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Christian Church officiated. Mrs. Jannings died at Burlington Hospital, Sunday morning, Jan. 26, where she had been a patient since Jan. 11.

She is survived by her husband, Rex, two sons, Robert Jannings, Burlington, Richard Jannings, Davenport, Iowa, two daughters, Mrs. T.M. (Carol) Goodson, Bettendorf, Iowa and Mrs. William (Donna) Reed, Tustin, California, six grandchildren, one sister, Margaret Blickle, St. Charles, Minnesota, and one brother, T.T. Blickle, Western Springs, Ill.

She was born March 4, 1908, at Fondulac, Wisconsin, the daughter of Theodore and Ada Haskins Blickle.

On May 17, 1930 she was married to Rex Jannings at Burlington. They had spent most of their married life in the Hillsboro community.

She was a member of the Christian Church, Hillsboro Chapter of O.E.S. No. 515, and a past member of the Hillsboro Legion Auxiliary.

Interment was in the Hillsboro Cemetery, with arrangements by the Beatty Funeral Chapel of Salem.
