ELMER W. EPPERLY
Elmer Worth Epperly, 57, died Friday, October 25, at 6 a.m. at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. He died of an apparent heart attack.
Born Dec. 16, 1910, in Davis County, he was the son of William Leslie and Maude Murdock Epperly. He was married to Aurthella Henderson on March 20, 1937. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Roger of St. Louis, Mo., and Steven of New Sharon; two grandsons; three brothers, Leslie of What Cheer, Harold of Huntsville, Ala. and Walter of Milton; and one sister, Alice Megrath of Cantril.
Mr. Epperly had been an employee of Van Buren County most of his life and was a member of Apollo Masonic Lodge, AF & AM.
Funeral services were held at the Milton Christian Church Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. James McKean officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery. Masonic rites were conducted by the grave.
