Mrs. Effie L. Perkins

Mrs. Effie L. Perkins, 82, who had lived for the past several years with a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Donnelly, at 1113 W. Moss Ave., Peoria, Ill., died at 12:10 A.M., Friday, Oct. 4 in Proctor Hospital. She had been a patient since Aug. 19.

She was born in Bonaparte, Iowa, Dec. 29, 1885, the daughter of Stephen and Nancy Kite Cox and was married to Otto R. Perkins on Nov. 11, 1905, at Bonaparte. He died July 19, 1958.

She was a lifetime member of the Sunshine Society of the Bonaparte Presbyterian church.

Surviving are her daughter, with who she made her home; one brother, Joseph H. Cox, of Bonaparte; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sons, Joseph M. Perkins; five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at the Bonaparte Methodist church at 11:00 A.M. Monday, the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery. Arrangements were by Millers' Home for Funerals Donnellson.
