Mrs. Anna E. Schrepfer

Mrs. Anna E. Schrepfer, 83, of Donnellson rural route, died Sunday, Sept. 22, at 9 P.M. in Sacred Heart Hospital, Ft. Madison, following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 13, 1885 at Hume, Ill., the daughter of Robert N. and Susanna Williams Dodsworth.

She married Herman Schrepfer Sept. 6, 1905 at Fairfield. He died March of 1963.

A resident of Lee county and the Mt. Hamill area most of her life, she was a housewife. She was a member of the Mt. Hamill Presbyterian church, a charter member of Hope Rebekah lodge, a past noble grand, and was active in the county offices of the Rebekahs.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Overton of rural route Donnellson and one grandson, Marvin Overton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, 2 granddaughters and 2 brothers.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 2 P.M. in Miller's Home for Funerals, Donnellson, with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial was in Clay Grove cemetery.
