FRANK L. ADLER SR.

KEOSAUQUA - Frank L. Adler Sr., 79, of Keosauqua Route 2 died the morning of Oct. 29 at Van Buren County Hospital.

He was born March 14, 1898, at Germanville to John and Laura Shepard Adler. On June 7, 1958, he married Betty Rohrback.

He lived in the Fairfield area most of his life, moving to Keosauqua more than 15 years ago. He was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War II and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors: his widow; sons Frank Jr. and Charles of Keosauqua and Bobby of Portland, Ore.; daughters Grace Harmon of Troutdale, Ore., and Laura and Shonie, both of Keosauqua; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Merle of Fairfield; and a sister, Tone Elder of Selma.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. D.O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial: with VFW rites at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight.
