CHARLES C. HILL

CANTRIL - Charles Cecil Hill, 65, died Aug. 21 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City.

He was born June 4, 1912 at Richmond, Mo., to Roscoe and Lillie Jones Hill. He married Ellen Fisher on Sept. 5, 1935, in Richmond.

He had been an auto mechanic and a mail carrier. He was a member of Apollo Lodge 461 AF & AM, Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion.

Survivors include his widow.

Services: military and Masonic services Wednesday, 2 p.m., Cantril Christian Church. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Wellborn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial: to American Cancer Society.
