SARAH SNYDER

STOCKPORT - Sarah Hesselgesser, 72, died Sunday morning at the home of her step-son, Keith Snyder of Stockport.

She was born March 26, 19095(?) in Washington County to Lewis and Margaret Morrow. She married Merle Hesselgesser at Washington on Feb. 24, 1923. He died in 1965. She married Forest R. Snyder in 1966 and they lived in Stockport. He died in 1969.

She and her first husband farmed in the Libertyville, Douds and Keosauqua areas.

Survivors include daughters, Margaret Campbell of Keswick and Mary Mullins of Chariton; step-sons Forest Snyder of Stockport, Norman Snyder of Mount Pleasant and Bill Snyder of Muskegon, Mich.; step-daughters Donna Carrico of Stockport, Geraldine Pratt of O'Fallon, Mo., Louise Lanam of Norfolk, Va. and Ruby Dorothy of Mount Pleasant; 35 grandchildren; a step-mother, Edith Morrow of Butler, Pa.; and 3 step-sisters of Butler, Pa.

He(She) was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at Washington.

A memorial has been established to the Stockport Library.
