BA POOLE

FARMINGTON - Mrs. Ba Poole, 86, of Farmington, died Saturday at 4:25 p.m. at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Jan. 12, 1891, at Mount Sterling to Jacob and Lydia Ann Poling Houston. On Aug. 19, 1936, she married Byron Poole at Centerville. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are two stepsons, Allen of Farmington and Lester of Albia; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Dan Thompson Jr. of Rock Island, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Lola McBride of Farmington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, with the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial will be Sharon Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
