ADA A. WORKMAN

STOCKPORT - Mrs. Ada Anna Workman, 94, died Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield. She had been in failing health several months.

She was born Sept. 12, 1881, at Stockport to John and Mary Webber Newman. Her husband, E.G. Workman, died in 1942.

She had lived in the Stockport community all of her life, and was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Lester E. Workman of Stockport; three grandchildren; and one brother, Russell Newman of Keosauqua.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Stockport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield.

Visitation will be Friday from 7:30 t0 8:30 p.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
