DANNY LEE COUNTS

Danny Lee Counts was born April 11, 1950, at Salem, Missouri, the son of Earl and Anna Welch Counts.

He married Jane Cole on June 22, 1974, at Kahoka, Missouri.

He moved to Keosauqua from Farmington in 1974. He was employed by Conrad Inc. at Houghton.

Mr. Counts was an Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife Jane, his father, Earl Counts of Farmington; his mother, Anna Reed of Farmington; his grandmother, Sylvia Counts, of Salem, Missouri; four step-children, Jonnie, Randy, Tammy, Kathy, all at home; five brothers, David of Farmington; Jimmy of Stockport, Dennis of Salem, Missouri, Ricky and Mark both of Farmington; and four sisters, Bonnie Bogad of St. Ouis, Missouri, Shirley Giberson of Stockport, Margaret Denly of Farmington; and Mickie Gray of Chariton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandfather, and one brother.

The funeral was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington, with military rites at the cemetery.
