Anna Alene Spearman, 78, a former resident of Salem, died in Kennedy nursing home, Mt. Pleasant, at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 1975.
The daughter of George and Louisa Wilson Farr, she was born April 30, 1897, in Mt. Pleasant. She married DeVere Spearman, November 4, 1917; he died August 13, 1969.
Surviving: Son, Russell Spearman, Sac City; two daughters, Marceline Nihart, Escondido, California; and Nina Stevens, Hillsboro; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel, Rev. L.H. Smith; Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
