RAYMOND COOKSEY

Raymond Cooksey, 85, formerly of Pittsburg, died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Graham Hospital, Keokuk. He had been a resident of the Keokuk Convalescent Center, and earlier, the Van Buren County Care Center.

He was born December 30, 1889, the son of Dan and Della Clemens Cooksey, and lived his life in the Pittsburg and Keosauqua communities.

Surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral was 2 p.m. Thursday, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Rev. John Cornish; Pittsburg Cemetery.
