MARJORIE E. ROUSH

Mrs. Marjorie E. Roush, daughter of Charley and Retta Roush Kunzman, was born February 24, 1916, near Douds, and departed this life, Thursday, July 10, 1975, at the Ottumwa Hospital at the age of 59.

She lived in the Douds and Selma communities and the past ten years in Ottumwa, where she was employed at Ottumwa Heights College.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her widower, David Roush, two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Carroll of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Dixie Stump of Ankeny, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Glassford of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Emma Koogler of Douds, Mrs. Bessie Dooley of Selma and Mrs. Bernice Hamilton of Ottumwa, other relatives and friends. A brother, Sam Kunzman, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary at Oskaloosa and of the Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 13, 1975, at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Harold Harryman officiating. Kathleen Pedrick was the organist. Pall bearers were James, Don, and Sam Glassford, Dwain Dooley, Charley Kunzman, and William Hamilton. Interment was in the Leando Cemetery.
